What is east?

east (Europe and Asia STrategies) is a bi-monthly magazine that focuses on European economics, politics and culture with special attention to the relationship between the continent and the Far East, specifically India and China. Published by Italy’s Banda Larga group in conjunction with the magazine Internazionale, and edited by Vittorio Borelli, east is supported by the UniCredit group. The magazine’s scientific board is headed by Alessandro Profumo, the chief administrator of UniCredit, and also includes Aldo Bonomi, Massimo Cacciari, Ferruccio De Bortoli, Carmine Lamanda, Giovanni Moro, Fabrizio Onida, Lapo Pistelli, Sergio Romano, Renato Ruggiero and Danilo Taino. Magazine editor Borelli, publisher Emanuele Bevilacqua and Giuseppe Scognamiglio, UniCredit’s Head of Institutional and International Affairs, are also members of the board.

How often does east come out?
Six times a year,  in both Italian and English. In Italia, it’s distributed in kiosks, bookstores and through subscriptions.
